Four-time GRAMMY Award winner Taylor Swift was one of the biggest winners at last night’s Billboard Music Awards, taking home three trophies, including one of the evening’s highest honors, the all-genre Top 200 Albums Artist Award. Taylor also took home the trophy for Top Country Artist, and her now-Triple-PlatinumSpeak Now album, released on Big Machine Records, was voted Top Country Album. Taylor, who writes all of her own songs, sold more albums in 2010 and 2008 than any other artist in any genre of music, and her Fearless album was 2009’s top-selling CD. Taylor has career record sales now in excess of 20 million albums and 33 million song downloads, and she is the top-selling digital artist in music history. She is both Entertainment Weekly’s and the Academy of Country Music’s reigning Entertainer of the Year. I'm damn excited and I'm so proud of you,Taylor!

UNICEF's celebrity tap project
UNICEF has launched a new campaign in order to raise awareness of waterborne illnesses, the number two killer of children around the world. Celebrities have bottled tap water from their very own homes and used them to endorse the project.

PokemOn creator,Satoshi Tajiri, is ALIVE!!!
With the devestating news of the earthquake and tsunami hitting Japan in the past two days, rumors have popped up on the internet that Satoshi Tajiri, who is the creator of Pokemon, was killed in the quake. Reports of him passing away first hit the internet via twitter and facebook, with one user tweeting:The creator of Pokemon died today in the #tsunami, #Japan. RIP: Satoshi Tajiri. #prayforjapa This is supposedly the tweet that is fueling the rumors but since all the different stories have hit the web Nintendo have denied the story with an official tweet being sent out on their twitter page saying: During the earthquake, no one at Nintendo in Japan was injured and there was no apparent structural damage. I am for one very glad to hear this news. However :
