Reports of him passing away first hit the internet via twitter and facebook, with one user tweeting:The creator of Pokemon died today in the #tsunami, #Japan. RIP: Satoshi Tajiri. #prayforjapa This is supposedly the tweet that is fueling the rumors but since all the different stories have hit the web Nintendo have denied the story with an official tweet being sent out on their twitter page saying: During the earthquake, no one at Nintendo in Japan was injured and there was no apparent structural damage.
